The 2012 APCO Western Regional Conference is being hosted by the Alaska Chapter of APCO. This is the first time this conference has been held in the Last Frontier and we are excited!

The conference dates coincide with the Anchorage Fur Rendezvous — when the streets of downtown Anchorage come alive with winter sports, sled dog races, native art and cultural activities. The Idiatrod Sled Dog Race, commonly known as "The Last Great Race," will commence during this time as well.

Accommodations — This Conference is sure to attract members from the entire country. You will find the venue, the programs, the Captain Cook Hotel, and the close proximity to the airport extremely convenient.

The Hotel Captain Cook is one of Anchorage's distinguished luxury hotel properties. Located in Downtown Anchorage, Alaska, walking distance to the Egan Convention Center. Captain Cook is Alaska's member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts. We have negotiated a conference room rate of $99 per night, including wireless lan and use of the fitness/spa facilities.
